Eight to Twelve Weeks Pregnant

• 9/29 - First appointment with midwives (all appears fine so far)
• 10/4 - Told DJ & April (was waiting until they moved to Buffalo)
• 10/7 - First day beginning to feel 'well'
• 10/7 - Couldn't button pants
  

Oh boy...or girl...Baby Rassman #2 is on the way!

• 8/26 - Took pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE
• 9/1 - Told Mom & Dad Rassman
• 9/4 - Started feeling ill and VERY tired
• 9/5 - Told Mom & John
• 9/20 - Told Dad & Heather (had to wait for them to get back from CT)
• 9/21 - Officially eight weeks pregnant
  

Two Years Three Months Old

ELLA

• Participating in Music with Mar classes with Miss Katie
• Participating in Roly Poly classes
• Likes to sing ABCs; Twinkle, Twinkle; Wheels on the Bus; E-I-E-I-O; and Itsy Bitsy Stubble (Spider)
• Saying 4-5 word sentences
• Has on occasion counted to 8 on own

Twenty-Three Months Old

• Opening doors on own
• Climbing onto furniture on own
• Saying two-word sentences
  

Twenty-One Months Old

• Proficient with "No"
• Started taking one nap for 2-3 hours
  
• Saying "Okie Dokie"
• Saying "Oh my" and "My oh my"

Twenty Months Old

• On Monday, January 4th, I officially started back teaching. It's going to be a rough half year.
  
• Ella said "cracker".
• Ella beginning to shake head 'no' when directly asked questions.
  

Nineteen Months Old

• Found out will officially begin back to work on 1/4/10
  
• Starting to repeat sounds
• Playing with pull toys
• Starting to repeat words and imitate environmental sounds (ie. siren)
• Visited three of the possible places Ella will be going once Todd and I are both back to work. One is an in-home licensed daycare - in a basement, very nice person, but didn't get a homey feeling. The second came recommended to us from Ella's PT. In home with one other little girl who is Ella's age (and petite like her too). The third was another in-home licensed daycare. Really, really liked it (and her step-cousin goes there too), but just a bit too far for us.
  
• I spent a day conferencing with my classroom parents-to-be as well as two days observing the class. Oh boy, am I in for it!
